Year 7 - Why do accurate maps lie to us?
An introduction to the subject of Geography, from Eratosthenes (the father of Geography) and his love for measuring the Earth to how we look at the world today using maps.
An in-depth look at the causes and impacts of Climate Change at a variety of scales.
The Geography KS3 Curriculum is designed in such a manner that it covers the key knowledge, understanding and skills necessary for progression to IGCSE and IB Diploma. Learners build on previous knowledge, skills and understanding in different contexts and at an ever increasing level of difficulty, in a spiral curriculum.
The curriculum is currently under review, beginning with Year 7 and building towards Year 9. Below, you will find the current version used for KS3 and this is subject to change over the course of the year.
